Lord Mansfield's Rule
Such rule renders inadmissible testimony by either spouse on the question of whether the husband had access to the wife at time of conception. This Rule has been abandoned by several states as having outlived its original policy foundations. Serafin v. Serafin, 401 Mich. 629, 258 N.W.2d 461
